First Darwin Regional Workshop - Partnerships, November 2008 (Archived)

The Darwin Initiative (DI) Workshop on Partnerships took place of the 6th of November 2008 and was the first regional workshop to be held by the Darwin Initiative. The establishment and maintenance of Partnerships are central components of DI projects. As illustrated in the project presentations, they are diverse and exist at different levels within a project context.

A series of presentations challenged participants to consider what makes an effective partnership in a Darwin Initiative project and how these can be utilised to support the objectives of the CBD. These then fed into lively discussion in two workshop sessions in the afternoon.
