BCFs Case Studies Webinar, July 2022
In July 2022, the Biodiversity Challenge Funds hosted a set of case study webinars with a geographic focus on Central and South America and also Africa for new and current projects, with the aim of providing an additional lesson learning opportunity.
Central and South America webinar
The Central and South America webinar was held on Friday 8 July and featured two case studies:
- 26-021 "Biodiversity conservation, vicuña health and local livelihoods in Apolobamba, Bolivia" led by Wildlife Conservation Society
- IWT075 "Reducing macaw trafficking in indigenous territories of the Honduran Moskitia" led by Wildlife Conservation Society

Africa webinar
The Africa webinar was held on Friday 15 July and featured three case studies:
- 26-015 "Traditional African vegetables strengthen food and nutrition security in Madagascar" led by World Vegetable Centre
- 27-001 "Conserving High Atlas agrobiodiversity to improve Amazigh livelihoods in Morocco" led by Global Diversity Foundation
- IWT101 "Disrupting international wildlife trafficking networks in West and Central Africa" led by Environmental Investigation Agency
