The fellowship will aid Laura Fasola to further develop her scientific analytical and writing skills, networkwtih experts in invasive species and carnivore conservation, to attend a major conference and workshop, and will guide preparations of her doctoral thesis. Her thesis has developed from the Darwin project The endangered otter and the invasive mink in Patagonia and the Fellowship will afford her the opportunity to work closely with Professor David Macdonald, the project’s UK expert, and his team. The fellowship will last for one year, commencing July 2007 and will be based at Oxford University’s Wildlife Conservation Research Unit.
