Summary
The objectives of the trip will include:
1) To determine whether the veterinary capacity that is needed to meet the conservation medicine needs of the Seychelles can be supplied from within the existing structure given appropriate training.
2) To determine whether the organisations are involved in and responsible for biodiversity conservation and species recovery in the Seychelles would support this Darwin initiative and what they could contribute to meeting the overall goals of the proposed project.
3) To determine what, logistically, needs to take place in order for the proposed project to achieve its aim of increasing the conservation medicine capacity in the Seychelles.
