Summary

to develop a best methodology outline for bushmeat data collection, interpretation and capacity building to enable improved conservation interventions and to build an effective system of biodiversity monitoring in the landscape. Data collection will be done with AWF and its national and local partners. Analysis of results will be undertaken with consortium partners and results translated into improved biological monitoring and design of interventions, as well as capacity building with government and civil society partners. The results will be used by the consortium and will influence both policy level work and the development of activities on the ground for better governance of natural resources and conservation of biodiversity.
