Summary

We will use the scoping trip as an opportunity to identify and build relationships with key stakeholders, including community groups as well as conservation and community development organisations, in South Luangwa. We will focus on the impacts of wildlife poisoning on animals, the environment and people. We will collect ecological, socio-economic and institutional data for use in planning a project aimed at enhancing socio-economic values and sustaining the ecological integrity of the habitat and threatened wildlife in the Luangwa Valley, within and outside protected areas
