The objectives of the visit are:
• To establish working relationships between project partners and with relevant local stakeholders
• To build an understanding between the partners of the knowledge and skills needed to deliver a
successful Darwin project
• To build the capacity of local partners and stakeholders to conduct a participatory context analysis
• To update our understanding of the impacts of agricultural practices on biodiversity and livelihoods in the
Murchison Falls Conservation Area
• To identify potential approaches and technologies for the improvement of ecological connectivity in the
Murchison Falls Conservation Area
• To collect quantitative baseline data to inform the design of a future Darwin project
