Summary

A Community of Practice will be developed around access and benefit sharing (ABS) to provide advice, act as a conduit for voices currently under-represented in ABS policy processes, and develop conceptual and practical tools to help governments, researchers, and local communities deal with challenges and more effectively engage with ABS. An ABS Community of Practice is developed and using tools to support governments, researchers, industry and local communities meet the needs of poor producer communities and biodiversity conservation.
