Summary
To institutionalize Biodiversity Action Planning processes in the forests of Nepal, at District and Forest User Group levels (FUG), to ensure biodiversity is identified, protected, and where appropriate utilised on a sustainable basis to help alleviation of rural poverty.
Field tools for local participatory Biodiversity Assessment, and Action Planning (BA/BAP) process developed.
BA/BAP implemented and documented in at least 12 FUGs.
District-level Biodiversity Action Planning (DBAP) process implemented in at least 3 Districts.
